The Altra Timp is a versatile trail running shoe that combines the best of Altras Peak and Olympus models to gives runners the responsive cushioning and protection they need for the road ahead. The durable MaxTrac™ outsole provides excellent traction on rough and rugged terrain while the ultra breathable and water-resistant upper material helps keep feel dry and comfortable. Upper: Updated, 360° reflective upper with TPU overlays provides lightweight, breathable support. The Gaiter Trap hook-and-loop tab conveniently secures the trail running gaiters to the shoe without having to strap them below the outsole. Midsole: A Zero Drop™ platform with a FootShape™ toe box allows the toes to relax and spread out naturally and the big toe to remain in a straight position for more stability and powerful toe-off to maximize running performance. Outsole:MaxTrac™ outsole with 4mm lugs provides durable traction on aggressive and uneven terrain. Features a stack height of 29mm.
