The womens version offers the added benefit of Gender-Specific cushioning. Upper: Features a breathable mesh with a durable, stitchdown toecap. Padded tongue and heel collar enhance comfort. Discrete Eyelets disburse lace tension, creating a customized fit environment and enhanced upper comfort. Midsole: Impact Guidance System (I.G.S®) employs linked componentry to enhance the foots natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. FluidRide™ provides the ultimate combination of bounce back and cushioning properties with reduces weight and exceptional durability. Rearfoot GEL® Cushioning Systems attenuate shock during impact phase and toe-off phases, and allows movement on multiple plans at the foot transitions through the gait cycle. ComforDry™ Sockliner provides cushioning performance and anti-microbial properties for a cooler, drier, healthier environment. Outsole: AHAR® ASICS High Abrasion Rubber placed in critical areas of the outsole delivers exceptional durability.
