The updated Wilson Starter Orange Tennis Ball 48 pack includes low compression balls that travel slower than a standard ball making it easier and more fun for beginning players to learn the game. These balls are specifically designed for Stage 2 Orange and are ITF® & USTA® approved. This new edition has been updated to a solid yellow with an orange dot printed on the ball. The ITF’s Play & Stay™ and USTA’s Quickstart™ initiatives are based on children using the right sized racquet and reduced speed balls on smaller courts suited to their size and age. These programs aim to retain players in the sport by ensuring that their first experience is both positive and enjoyable.
